CROSS TRAINERS

Cross Trainers consists of newly married couples through married couples with kids ranging in age from infants to elementary school. We focus on how God is working in our families and work lives as we learn together to accept the fact that although we are not in control, God is. We grow through sharing our struggles and leaning on each other in times of need. (Located in Room 208 on the young children’s hall)

ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE

Eternal Perspective is a group of families seeking to live with eternity in view. We are at a busy stage of life with children in school and growing careers. We spend time in the Word and time together in order to help each other increasingly reflect Christ in our marriages, our families, our careers, and our ministries. (Located down stairs in the Fellowship Hall, south side)

GOLDEN HEIRS

Golden Heirs consists mostly of retired or semi-retired career people. The intent of the class is to support and assist our church family and missionary outreach throughout our Grace Brethren Fellowship. Ron Henry teaches our class lessons, which focus on encouraging self-examination and impacting our individual lives. We have treats and coffee at class time with regular social times consisting of carry-ins or eating out at a restaurant. We may be some of the "old guys," but the Lord is not finished with us yet! (Located in the Fireside Room)

IMPACT

Impact is a community of young adults, post-high school through early 30's, who come together in the Word, in prayer and in accountability--all while having a good time! Our commitment is to week-long community and service. We invite you to become a part of our family! (Located in the Gordon Center, Faculty Office)

KING’S COMPANY

King’s Company is group of diverse individuals meeting to study God's Word and to celebrate what God is doing in our lives. Several from within our group teach our class. In addition, we enjoy excellent outside guest teachers throughout the year. Our ABF also meets as a small group, giving us an opportunity to continue discussing the morning worship service or ABF class lessons. King's Company desires to grow in number with new individuals joining our bookstore gang. Even more important, we also desire to grow deeper in our relationships with God and each other. If you enjoy coffee and conversation, we invite you to come. (Located at Tree of Life bookstore)

ONE DIRECTION

One Direction started out as a young marrieds ABF over 10 years ago and has now transitioned to a ABF that includes singles, married couples with kids, and empty nesters. Our studies focus on biblical principles applied in today’s fast-paced life. We have studied books of the Bible, finances, how to survive teenagers, and how to share our faith with the unsaved. Our socials have been a staple of this class. We have several events throughout the year including a fondue party, soup night, camping and more. No matter if we are in an intense class study or together on a social, we are always striving to focus on Christ and moving forward through life together. (Located in the Hub, the Loft)

PRACTICAL LIVING

Practical Living ABF focuses on dynamic Bible study, lively discussion, small group atmosphere, care, and prayer. Our class embraces a wide range of ages, interests, and gifts. Our careers are in the fields of health care, education, finance, community leadership, etc. Though you won’t hear another sermon in our class, you will be encouraged to think beneath the surface about how the Bible applies to life. We value humor and good times. We seek to build each other up in godliness and maturity. About half of each class period consists of body life and the other half Bible study. If you want to stretch your mind, warm your heart, and become more like Christ, come join us. (Located in the Conference Room, northwest corner of main building)

REAL PEOPLE

The Real People ABF is a group that lives up to its name! Our class includes people with a multitude of backgrounds and life experiences who enjoy encouraging one another, sharing blessings and burdens, and studying God’s Word together. We could be called the “sandwich” generation, because many of us are in between raising our own children and caring for our parents. If you’re looking for an ABF with a family atmosphere, where you can find support in your walk with Christ, then Real People is for you. (Located down stairs in the Fellowship Hall, southwest corner)

LADIES ABF

Questions about the class may be directed to Lois Maxson, class facilitator. (Located down stairs in the Fellowship Hall, northeast corner)
