AWANA
Over 100 children are involved each week in this outreach and discipleship program.
Job Description: Encourage kids by listening to them as they say their Bible memory verses.
Availability: Wednesday evenings, 6:45-8:15 p.m.

Children’s Church
Children in grades 1-6 begin their worship experience with their families in the adult worship service. They are dismissed during the service to have their own Bible lesson presented in a fun, interactive way.
Job Description: Helpers and teachers share God’s truths in creative and fun ways.
Availability: Sundays, 10:30 a.m.

Jefferson Connection - Noon Reading Program
You can make a friend and make a difference in the life of a child struggling with reading.
Job Description: Serve as a “reading buddy” with a child at Jefferson Elementary School. You read with the same child throughout the school year.
Availability: A lunch hour once a week.

Jefferson Connection - Homework Club
Remember the struggles of doing homework? Maybe mom or dad isn’t available to help out, but you can be that connection for a child in need.
Job Description: Help students at Jefferson Elementary School do their homework.
Availability: Monday-Thursday after school.

Kids Chorale
The children prepare Christmas and Spring Musicals.
Job Description: Helpers are needed for music, drama, and crowd control!
Availability: Sunday evening from 5:45-7:15 p.m.

Nursery
The babies are lovingly cared for each week by a great team of nursery workers.
Job Description: Rock-n-roll with the infants and toddlers.
Availability: monthly Sunday mornings from either 8:45-10:15 a.m. or 10:15-11:45 a.m. or monthly/weekly Sunday evenings 5:45-7:15 p.m. and Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:15 p.m.

SMM
SMM is a club for girls at Jefferson Elementary School. There is an emphasis on how much Jesus loves them and how much each one needs to have Jesus in her heart. Singing, playing games, learning about missions, doing crafts and, of course, snacks are a part of SMM.
Job Description: Leaders and helpers work together to nurture girls through activities and relationships.
Availability: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Thursdays of each month. The leaders meet for planning and prayer the 4th Thursday.

Sunday School
“The B-I-B-L-E, yes that’s the book for me...” The children in all Sunday School classes learn the importance of the Bible and its contents.
Job Description: Teachers and assistants for ages 2 through 6th grade.
